Wichita Affiliate Tribes

The official Wichita tribal site describes a federally recognized tribal government and cultural history involving the Wichita, Waco, Tawakoni, Taovaya, and Kichai peoples. The OMHOF roster's 'Affiliate' spelling is retained as the official roster name.

Oklahoma connection

The Wichita and Affiliated Tribes are headquartered in Anadarko, Oklahoma; the official tribal site documents the entity and its constituent peoples.

Recognition

The captured Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame roster places this entry under 2008.

Questions in the source record

Confirm why the Hall used 'Affiliate' rather than the tribe's official 'Affiliated' form and identify the induction representative/event image.
