Jazz history

Glenn R. Townsend

No independent authoritative biography was located in this pass. The Hall page provides a detailed chronology and the search identified Concert Archives and local Oklahoma music-history leads, but neither was accepted as sufficient independent verification for this record.

Oklahoma connection

High for the Hall claim; independent corroboration in this pass was not sufficient beyond the Hall page and search leads.

Hall of Fame account

The Hall page identifies Townsend as born in Sulphur, moving to Tulsa at four, performing with Ram Rods and Standing Room Only, recording with No Large Trucks/TRUK, returning to Tulsa, and leading a later blues-rock band.
