Help a musical story find its context.
Prepare a memory, an identification, a source, or a correction to an existing record.

What would you like to share?
A recollection of making music, a name in a photograph, an ensemble’s history, a program or document, or a correction to a date or account can help the collection.
Prepare the details
- Identify the person, ensemble, place, or page involved.
- Describe what you remember or what the source shows. Distinguish recollection from documented information.
- Include dates, source links, and page references where available.
- For an image or document, record its owner, creator, and any known use restrictions.
The submission template can be saved and completed on your computer. A public receiving address will be added when the project’s contact route is established.

Read about the Oral History Project and prepare a short description of the musical experiences you would like to discuss. An expression of interest does not establish an interview date or permission to publish.
A photograph can begin a conversation.
