Roger Mills County — band and musical history
1890–1999
Musical history, people, ensembles, photographs, and source material from the Oklahoma Musicians Library.
The first-pass record is sparse but not empty. The strongest verified resource is the Roger Mills Sentinel, a Cheyenne newspaper digitized for 1907-1918, with 446 issues available through The Gateway to Oklahoma History. That collection is a substantial primary-source base for finding local bands, school music, dances, parades, and musicians, but ordinary web indexing did not expose enough article text to verify a named ensemble in this pass.
